Report: Modern Warfare 3 ‘Hardened Edition’ details leaked
We all knew that a Hardened Edition for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was coming, but Activision has yet to come out and reveal just what the contents will be.
Thanks to an image picked up by Wired that purports to be a feature list for the European version of the Hardened Edition, we won’t have to wait for Activision to officially announce it.
According to the image, the Hardened Edition will come packaged in with a one-year membership to Activision’s Call of Duty Elite service, a field journal with “authentic military sketches, diagrams and written entries”, and more.
Here’s the full list of items reported to be included in the Hardened Edition:
One year of membership in Call of Duty Elite.
“Founder status” on Elite with exclusive in-game emblem, player card, camouflage, clan XP boost and other exclusive benefits.
SteelBook case.
PlayStation Network exclusive: “Animated Timeline Theme.”
Xbox 360 exclusive: “Special Ops Juggernaut Xbox Live Outfit.”
Limited-edition “field journal” with more than 100 pages of “authentic military sketches, diagrams and written entries.”
Activision has yet to confirm the contents as of now, nor do we know whether or not the contents will be the same across all regions, but considering that Activision’s Call of Duty XP event is just around the corner, we aren’t likely going to be waiting long to find out for sure.
