Lana Del Rey Rolling Stone

Lana Del Rey wrote an interesting song that discusses what women taste like. Unfortunately for the singer, her mom wasn’t entirely impressed with the endeavor.

In case you missed it, Lana recently sat down with the folks at Rolling Stone to discuss a number of interesting topics, including her latest album Ultraviolence. Although the singer wasn’t entirely sold on the interview, she ended up spilling a few details worthy of regurgitating. One of these tales tackled the Born to Die tune “Cola,” a song that was reportedly inspired by one of her boyfriends.

There’s a specific line in the aforementioned song that certainly caught everyone’s attention. Since it’s such an admittedly peculiar lyric, many people wondered what inspired her to pen such a thing. If you haven’t heard the song, we suspect you’re doing a fair amount of head scratching at the moment. As always, The Inquisitr is here to help.

Check out Lana Del Rey’s salty lyrics below.

“”My p***y tastes like Pepsi Cola
My eyes are wide like cherry pies
I gots a taste for men who’re older
It’s always been, so it’s no surprise”

According to MTV News, the story behind “Cola” was plucked from a handful of outtakes from Lana’s Rolling Stone interview. Not only did she share the story behind the tune, Del Rey also discussed her parents’ reaction to the lyrics. Hint: One thought it was pretty funny, the other, well, not so much. We’ll give you one guess.

Del Rey told the magazine:

“He was talking about American girls, his vision of American girls was that all their p***ies tasted like Pepsi-Cola, and that they were such a dream. I thought that was the funniest f**king thing I’d ever heard. And I thought, ‘Well…'”

What did her parental units think of the song?

“My dad thought ‘Cola’ was funny. My mom didn’t think it was that funny.”

And there you have it, folks. We sincerely hopes this brightens your entire existence. Since we’re on the subject of Lana Del Rey and too much information about her sex life, let’s briefly touch on how many people she slept with while working her way through the music industry. Although Lana admits that she willingly hopped into a number of beds over the years, none of these trysts helped her achieve superstardom.

Lana boldly revealed:

“You know, I have slept with a lot of guys in the industry, but none of them helped me get my record deals… I like a physical love. I like a hands-on love. I like a tangible, passionate love. For me, if it isn’t physical, I’m not interested.”
