Chris Pratt AKA Star-lord Hosts Facebook Chat With Fans [Breaking]

We’ve been saying it for months, but Chris Pratt is about to blow up. The Parks and Recreation actor has been enjoying success on the NBC sitcom, but once he hits the big screen in his first lead role in Guardians of Galaxy, a bonafide star will be born. If one starring role is not enough, Pratt has another iconic role coming up in the new Jurassic Park film.

For right now, his first priority is promoting the heck out of the Marvel film. He’s been on daytime television, worked the talk show circuit, and fielded questions at press junkets. This morning he decided to take self-promotion into his own hands and took over his Facebook. Pratt hosted an impromptu free for all where fans could ask him any question for five to ten minutes and he would answer a few lucky fans– whether it was related to his film Guardians of the Galaxy or not.

There were no rules to the questions that he answered, and this alone resulted in some humorous responses from Star-lord himself.

Here’s what we found out about the star during his Facebook chat.

What did your diet consist of for Guardians of the Galaxy?

Chris Pratt: Forty thousand chickens

What role that you’ve played has been your favorite?

Pratt: Not counting Peter Quill AKA Star-lord? My favorite role was Andy Dwyer.

Will you come to my house and braid my hair?

Pratt: I mean most likely not. But thank you for asking. I am married and i only braid my wife’s hair or my sister’s hair or an intern’s hair for ET if they ask me to on the spot.

What was the coolest part about playing Peter?

Pratt: The costumes. The guns. The space travel. The dialogue. The opportunity to collaborate. The opportunity to be part of the Marvel cinematic universe. The cast. It’s hard to pick one thing.

When you were little, who was your favorite superhero and/or super villain?

Pratt: Punisher. Because all he had was a van full of guns and a thirst for vengeance. I loved that.

While Pratt didn’t answer most of the questions that were asked we did get to see some pretty amusing artwork by fans.

While the buzz has been going strong for Guardians of the Galaxy since a teaser was dropped months ago, we really didn’t know what the end result would be. Sure, it had all the ingredients to be a success but we really didn’t see any indication that it was a sure bet until reviews started coming in. Recently we posted a roundup of reviews and it looks like Guardians of the Galaxy won’t disappoint Marvel purists or moviegoers that are in the mood for some pop cultured fun.
