‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Star Phaedra Parks Slammed By Husband Apollo Nida

Phaedra Parks and her husband Apollo Nida have been a target for scrutiny for the past couple months due to his highly publicized fraud case. Now, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is having her name dragged through the mud yet again. However, this time her own husband the scrutiny and insults are coming from her own husband.

According to US Weekly, Nida feels some kind of way about the Parks’ lack of support and has even hinted toward marital problems. For those who haven’t noticed, the high-profile attorney has done her absolute best to distance herself from Nida, who was convicted on numerous federal offenses, including conspiring to commit mail, identity theft, wire and bank fraud. As a matter of fact, she wasn’t even in attendance when Nida was sentenced to eight years in prison on Tuesday, July 8. Parks also has yet to comment about her husband’s legal woes and prison sentence, which has led many to speculate if the two are headed for divorce.

Now, the 37-year-old reality TV star is speaking out about his wife and the future of their relationship. He openly admitted that he doesn’t see their marriage withstanding the full term of his prison sentence. “I doubt it,” he said about their marriage lasting. He went on to bash his wife for not supporting him during this difficult time in his life.

“I mean, my wife didn’t even f–king show up for my sentencing,” he said. “I’m still salty about that.”

Although Nida is quite flustered with his wife, he also tackling another battle. According to TMZ, Nida is open to doing whatever it takes to shorten his eight-year prison sentence. Even though he received less than half of the 22 years he was facing, he’s still not happy with the cards he’s been dealt.

Court documents have revealed that Nida has agreed to complete 500 hours of rehab even though he isn’t battling any form of addiction. Although he reportedly has a prior DUI on his record, inside sources revealed his reason for opting to enter rehab is directly associated with his desire to shorten his prison sentence. Inmates who complete rehabilitation programs tend to get early releases based on good behavior, so it may be a silver lining for Nida. Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be any silver lining for his marriage.
