‘Sons Of Anarchy’ Season 7 Premiere Date, Spoiler Teasers Revealed
Fans of Sons of Anarchy have been dying for details regarding season 7, and now there are some available. Just when does the final season of SOA premiere? That answer has now been revealed, and those hoping for big Sons of Anarchy spoilers have at least a few things to sort through now as well.
TVLine shares that the SOA season 7 premiere date is Tuesday, September 9. Fans knew that the show would begin in September, and there had been some dates floating around already. However, this is the first that FX has confirmed which week the mayhem begins.
Not only does the show return in early September, the premiere is super-sized. Viewers will get a full 105 minutes of SAMCRO to sink their teeth into in episode 7×01. Right after the hour-and-45-minute episode will be a live post-show episode of Anarchy Afterword. Fans already know a few Sons of Anarchy spoiler tidbits about characters coming into the mix of things in Charming this season, but what else is known so far?
FX indicates that episode 7×01 will begin a few days after Tara’s murder. Kurt Sutter had previously indicated there would be something of a time jump, but he had said it wouldn’t be a big one and he stuck with that plan. Apparently Jax Teller will be in jail, but seemingly not as a suspect in Tara’s vicious death. Rather, it is for a parole violation. He will be “grappling with the loss of the woman he loved,” and naturally the club is standing behind him as he tries to determine what comes next.
It will come as no surprise whatsoever that Jax will aim to get revenge for his wife’s murder. FX teases that he “sets in motion the brutal machinations that will lead to complete and merciless retribution.” Of course what Teller doesn’t know yet is just who it is that killed his wife, or who covered it up. Watching this all play out in the show’s final season will surely be unsettling and chilling.
It has already been revealed that guest stars this final season will include Marilyn Manson, Courtney Love, and Annabeth Gish. Manson will play a white supremacist who meets up with Jax in prison. E! Online teases that the rocker will be a “shot-caller who Jax will use to expand his power base.” Manson tweeted a photo from shooting and noted, “J.T. and R.T. This isn’t brunch. Tough acting like you want to kill your favorite character.”
Annabeth Gish will play the new sheriff in town, Althea Jarry. As for Courtney Love, TVLine teases the interesting Sons of Anarchy spoiler that she will play Abel’s preschool teacher. It seems she takes a special interest in Jax’s oldest son, a development that surely will generate a strong reaction from Wendy.
Just how will it all end? The only thing fans can count on in this regard is that they surely will be left stunned. Kurt Sutter has a history of shocking the show’s fans, showing that there is little predictability in what he does with his characters. Given how Tara died in the season 6 finale, most can feel certain that the final season will be a very wild ride.
