Kate Middleton Pregnant: Second Pregnancy Confirmed By Unlikely Source

Kate Middleton is pregnant with her second child, and confirmation of the royal pregnancy appears to have come from an unlikely source.

For weeks, rumors have been buzzing that Duchess Kate is pregnant, but this week the reports were given an air of legitimacy after Kate's friend Jessica Hay spoke on the record about the second royal baby. Hay's remarks that Kate is pregnant have not been confirmed by the royal family, but it appears a new source is proving that Kate is indeed pregnant.

Bookmakers in England have been taking bets on Kate's second pregnancy, and within one night the odds improved from 4-to-1 to 8-to-11.

But now those same bookmakers have suspended betting, leading many to believe that these outfits have inside information. Betting company Ladbrokes confirmed to E! News that betting was suspended, noting that many people "are still convinced the young couple have been making the most out of their new home, and the odds suggest a second nursery is imminent."

A spokesperson for Coral, another betting firm, told the Daily Mail that they believe the Kate Middleton pregnancy is confirmed.

"With Prince George's first birthday just around the corner, the latest gamble strongly indicates that he could soon be joined by a little brother or sister," a spokesperson for Coral told the newspaper. "In fact, there could even be double celebrations in the Windsor household next Tuesday."

These reports bolster the news from Jessica Hay, who spoke to the Australian magazine New Idea. Hay said that Kate Middleton is indeed pregnant again, with an official confirmation coming within a few weeks.

"Kate's inner circle are buzzing with the news that she is pregnant," said Hay, one of Kate's childhood friends. "I've heard it from several different friends of theirs now and they're saying that they think there's going to be an official announcement in weeks."

Hay has a good track record. In 2012 she broke the news of Duchess Kate's first pregnancy, and said this time around the signs are clear.

"Kate's face is fuller like it was when she was first expecting George and she's been changing her hair, which could be to disguise the fullness," Hay said. "She has rosy cheeks, she's letting her greys show again, and whenever she's out in public she goes to great lengths to hold something over her tummy…"

If Kate Middleton is pregnant, betters can still make a bit of money trying to predict the next royal baby. Betting firms are taking wagers on the name of Duchess Kate's second baby, with both Victoria and James leading at 6-to-1 odds.
