Lady Gaga on Tuesday took some time to show off her newest music video, this time for her song Yoü and I, which is a melodic tune that isn’t as slick as other videos she has appeared in, showing a more “raw” version of Gaga’s pure musical singing talents.
Gaga recently revealed that You and I would be about the “torture” of being away from a loved one and she constantly sends that message home in her newest music video. The singer/songwriter also pays homage to her love of S&M with plenty of fetish outfits, including various cuts to different appearances at the start of the video.
When filming the video in Nebraska last month Gaga revealed to an Omaha radio station:
“The [video is about the] idea that when you’re away from someone you love, it’s torture,” while adding, “I knew I wanted the video to be about me sprinting back and walking hundreds of thousands of miles to get him back.”
Here’s the music video:
“Yoü and I” is the fourth video from Gaga’s Born This Way record, the first video was “Born This Way” followed by “Judas” and then “The Edge of Glory,” which eventually led it’s way to Lady Gaga’s ‘Yoü and I’ premiere.
If you haven’t already watched the Gaga video take a look and then let us know what you think? If nothing else it’s another example of why Lady Gaga has become the most polarizing figure in pop music since Madonna pulled her eyebrow raising stunts in the 80’s and 90’s.
