Dennis Rodman Named In Police Report By Woman Claiming She Was Drugged

Dennis Rodman is named in a police report by a 22-year-old woman who claims she was drugged during an alcohol-fueled party at a Florida hotel.

A report filed with the Ft. Lauderdale Police Department from 22-year-old Angela Torre says that Rodman and a friend named Charlie met the young woman at the Ocean Manor Resort Hotel last week. Torre claims the group took the party to a hotel room where she consumed “one drink and a shot” and then blacked out.

Police found that Torre was discovered “passed out” in the hotel’s restaurant and then was taken by the fire department to a hospital. She left the hospital before staff could properly discharge her, and police said a rape kit was never administered.

“Torre believes she was given drugs by an unknown person without her knowledge, but does not recall,” the report claims.

Torre never accused Dennis Rodman, and police said he is not a suspect.

As TMZ noted, Rodman was at the hotel to watch the 2014 World Cup soccer match between the United States and Belgium.

“Sources tell us Torre recently went back to the hospital for a blood test to see if any drugs show up in her system… those results are still pending,” TMZ noted.

The police report is the latest bit of drama for Dennis Rodman, who has been a lightning rod for controversy dating back to his days in the NBA. Recently he has made a handful of high-profile visits to North Korea, where he is leading a basketball outreach program and has formed an unlikely friendship with American foe Kim Jong-Un.

Rodman also drew criticism for refusing to advocate on behalf of Kenneth Bae, and American being held in North Korea. Rodman later relented and sent a message to Jong-Un.

The former Chicago Bull has also been open about his struggle with alcohol abuse, and recently made a trip to rehab.

Dennis Rodman has not commented on the drugging report.
