Forza Motorsport 4 dev diary shows how the Hockenheim track was made

Our last look at Forza Motorsport 4 showed us a fictional track based on the real-world location of the Bernese Alps. This time around, we get the opposite.

The latest Forza Motorsport 4 developer diary shows us just how the team brought the Hockenheim track, located in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, into the world of Forza Motorsport 4. This one may not be as pretty to look at as the Bernese Alps, but it more than makes up for it by looking like an all-around fun track to race on.

The video starts us off with a rather in-depth look at just how much work is put into just one track. From there, we get to see how the track starts off in its early stages, moves forward into a “shippable” state and, finally, we get to see the finished product in action.
