OK! Magazine reports that 40-year-old Eva Mendes is pregnant, and Ryan Gosling, 33, is the father!

An “insider” told OK! that the actress is 7 month pregnant and is very happy about it. According to the source, “She’s been ready for motherhood for a while now, and to be sharing this experience with Ryan is a dream come true for her!”

Eva Mendes and Ryan Goslin began dating in 2011, after working together on the movie, The Place Beyond the Pines. The relationship has not been all smooth sailing, and was on-and-off a few times. However, it’s claimed that Eva’s pregnancy has solidified the relationship of late.

What does Ryan feel now? According to the source,”Ryan grew up without a dad, so he always said when he had kids, he’d be there no matter what. This is it for him.”

The current problem is that Eva Mendes wants to change her name to Eva Gosling, but Ryan is not too keen on the idea. Insiders say she feel very strongly about not giving birth to an illegitimate child, even if the conception was “out of wedlock.”

However, “Ryan doesn’t think they need to marry just because they are having a baby, but Eva believes it’s important to have their lives fully intertwined,” according to a source.

Some people are questioning whether Ryan Gosling is completely finished with his highly publicized relationship with actress Rachel McAdams, which ran from 2005 to 2007, and then heated up again in 2008.

Of course, all of the above is pure speculation and could well be the result of the fevered imagination of a writer with a deadline to meet and no story.
