Grand Theft Auto IV gets a graphics overhaul thanks to the iCEnhancer mod

Early last month, we got to see just how beautiful Grand Theft Auto IV can be made to look when the talented modding community gets a hold of the game, particularly the team behind the iCEnhancer mod.

As gorgeous as what we saw was, apparently the creator wasn’t quite finished just yet – the mod’s Facebook page updated earlier with a batch of new screenshots from the iCEnhancer 1.3 pre-release beta and, believe it or not, it looks even better.

If this is the first you’re hearing of the mod, here’s a basic rundown: the mod adds a new shader system alongside dramatically improved reflections, textures, models and a whole lot more beyond that. The short version: it makes Grand Theft Auto IV look really good.

If you’d like to get a good look at all of the screenshots of iCEnhancer 1.3, head over to the mod’s Facebook page at this link. If you’d like to check out slightly less pretty but still gorgeous footage of version 1.2.5 of the mod, check the video below.

Finally, if you’d like to try out version 1.2 of the mod for yourself, head over to this link.
