Man Executes 2-Year-Old In Front Of Her Father In Order To ‘Torture Him’

In a horrific story out of Detroit, a 24-year-old man is accused of executing a 2-year-old girl in cold blood in front of her father in order to “torture” him.

That allegation came from Lt. Michael Shaw of the Inkster Police Department, who said that Raymone Jackson from Inkster killed the innocent child due to some beef he had with her father. Jackson already appeared in court on first-degree murder charges and is currently in a jail cell with no bond.

Lt. Shaw told the Associated Press:

“The child was the intended target. He was going to kill the child in front of this guy and then kill him afterward so that it would be the last thing he sees.”

The victim, Kamiya Gross, who standing on the porch at the time of the incident, was shot in the head at point blank range by the suspect.

The suspect also allegedly shot a 12-year-old girl, Chelsea Lancaster, a family friend who was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

She was shot in the stomach, but her grandfather, Darrell Holt said she is expected to make a full recovery: “She’s going to make a 100 percent recovery, but it’s just going to take time,” he said.

The father, 34-year-old Ken French, was also shot, but didn’t die from his injury, and he is recovering in the hospital.

Jackson is now also charged with assault with Intent to Murder, Felony Assault, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Torture, as well as the premeditated first-degree murder charge.

Lt. Shaw said that the state would not look lightly on someone who carried out a shooting of this type: “Anybody that feels that they can execute a child in the state of Michigan, we’re going to go after them with everything that we can,” he said.
