Justin Bieber In The Clear Over ‘Pot Plane’ FAA Investigation

Justin Bieber is the clear with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in connection with their investigation into alleged improprieties aboard the private jet the superstar and his entourage arrived on into Teterboro airport, New Jersey for pre-Super Bowl partying

Justin Bieber’s potential legal load has lightened again as the Federal Aviation Administration confirmed in a Thursday statement obtained by E! News, that it has closed its investigation into allegations of unlawful behavior by Bieber and his entourage aboard his private jet as it flew to Teterboro airport, New Jersey for pre-Super Bowl fun earlier this year.

On January 31, the then 19-year-old and his group – which included his dad Jeremy – were detained at Teterboro Airport.

CNN later reported that an investigation was taking place into accusations that Bieber’s party allegedly abused the flight crew, and allegedly smoked so much marijuana that pilots had to wear oxygen masks to avoid contact.

After the jet was searched by US Customs and Border Protection Officers, other officials and with the assistance of trained drug-detecting dogs, no unsmoked marijuana was found.

The FAA’s statement reads:

“The FAA closed its investigation into allegations that passengers interfered with the flight crew on a Gulfstream G-IV aircraft that landed at Teterboro Airport on Friday, Jan. 31, 2014.”

“The FAA found no evidence that the passengers violated Federal Aviation Regulations.”

End of story.

Well, that story anyway.

Bieber would subsequently be detained by US Customs officials on arriving into Los Angeles International Airport on a flight from Tokyo, Japan in April.

Everyone’s favorite Canadian was finally allowed to leave the airport around five hours later, and it was reported at the time that Bieber can expect similar delays every time he attempts to enter the US due to his open criminal cases.

E! also corrected what appears to have been an inflammatory earlier report claiming that the Home Owner’s Association at the Beverly Hills condo Bieber recently rented two units in, had hired security guards to keep the singer “in check” after he held a party Monday night.

Cops were called out twice to Bieber’s condo building in response to a noise complaint early Tuesday.

But while E! confirmed the HOA said it’s adding extra security for all the residents, it has not hired security to specifically control the Bieb’s activities as one gossip outlet claimed.

A source told E!:

“No emergency HOA meeting has taken place but the association is looking into added security on an as needed basis to ensure the privacy of the residents is protected.”

The source added that management and the HOA were working to ensure every resident is aware of the regulations and rules of the block and noted:

“This is to protect the privacy of all residents, including Justin Bieber.”
