North West’s Hard Knock Life: Kimye Baby Faces Racist Attacks And A $1M Lawsuit
North West, the infant daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, is obviously a special baby. Why do we say that? Well, not many babies find themselves the focus of a a million-dollar lawsuit or the target of a racist attack, but North West has gone through both, apparently.
MediaTakeOut is reporting that baby North West was named, along with her mother Kim Kardashian, as a defendant in a $1 million lawsuit. The plaintiff: Chris Donnelly, who claimed that he was previously a groundskeeper for Kanye and Kim.
Donnelly’s charge: That baby North West “is a spoiled brat who constantly screamed so loud his hearing was damaged.”
To sum up: Kanye and Kim’s former gardener sued them for $1 million because North West is a baby that cried.
Donnelly also reportedly alleged that North West spit baby food on him and threw a diaper at him, supposedly causing him to fall into a pool and nearly drown. This, of course, caused significant emotional distress.
The suit also pointed the finger at the people around Kanye, Kim, and North West. Other members of North’s family allegedly said that they would punish Donnelly by making him shine shoes if he didn’t put up with North West’s diaper throwing and crying.
So baby North West is a diaper-clad, poo-throwing tyrant. Sounds about right. But maybe she wouldn’t be that way if it weren’t for the stressful life of the celebrity baby.
In a preview for an upcoming episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim and her mother Kris Jenner revealed a shocking bit of racism that they encountered on a flight.
Little North West is nowhere to be found during the E! News snippet, but Kim and Kris recount a bizarre tale that starts with Jenner holding North West and Kim having fallen asleep.
“Mom had the baby; I fell asleep,” Kim says. “I woke up to this woman screaming ‘Kanye West’s Baby!'”
The woman wasn’t a fan of little North West, though; she was annoyed at the baby’s crying.
“The woman is screaming at my child,” Kim continues, “I jump up.”
Then Kris Jenner takes over: “Then the lady stood up in the cabin in first class and yelled at the top of her lungs that, ‘She’s with a black guy and that baby is black, and you need to shut that black baby up!'”
Which, like, wow. Not that North’s mother hasn’t had to endure some odd bits of racism before. At an event in Germany, a comedian came up to Kim in full-on blackface, saying that he was impersonating her husband Kanye West.
In January, a guy that had opened the door for Kim soon after called her a “n***** lover” and “stupid slut.” Yeah. Kanye punched that guy.
Little North, so far, hadn’t been the focus of any racist attacks, but now we’ve got the Airplane Incident. Looking at it now, though, perhaps North West’s cry is truly a terror. It reportedly has pushed one man to file suit and another woman to go on a racist rant.
