Skylar Diggins’ Boyfriend Daniel Smith Called ‘Sexist’ By Rapper Drake And Friends

Skylar Diggins’ boyfriend Daniel Smith was attacked by rapper Drake recently after the two began competing with photos over the internet.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, Skylar Diggins’ nude photos controversy had some people remembering that more than her performance, and the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue probably just served as reminder. It is also hard to know what to think when Diggins became involved in a brawl at a high school game that was supposed to honor the WNBA star.

Apparently, Skylar Diggins’ boyfriend started another type of online brawl when he responded negatively to a photo featuring Drake wearing her yellow number four Tulsa Shock shirt while sipping on two red cups.

Drake’s caption to this photo reads:

“Feeling truly blessed today. Been down and I’m grateful to be on my feet in this wonderful weather with wonderful people.”

So, no, it was not exactly a call out to Diggins directly but apparently the rapper has been an Instagram virtual stalker because he’s been posting Skylar Diggins photos like this and this to his Instagram account on a regular basis during the past year. This behavior apparently caught the attention of the boyfriend since Smith retaliated by posting his own photo of him and Skylar looking great together… and he tagged Drake for the post:

Clearly, Smith thinks Drake really wants to be Skylar Diggins’ boyfriend but the rapper apparently only is a fan of the women’s basketball star. His retaliation to Smith’s Instagram came in the form of posting a video showcasing his friend OB O’Brien going on a rant explaining exactly how messed up the situation really is:

“It’s sexist and I won’t stand for it. You wanna be verbal bullies to my dog, Champagne when the fact is he’s a fan of how she plays the game!… Is she an absolute top goddess draped in Dri-FIT? That’s for you to decide. We like the way she plays the game and she handles herself like a lady.”
