Beyoncé and Jay-Z Kick Off ‘On The Run’ Tour In Miami

Beyoncé and Jay-Z kicked off their joint On the Run tour on Wednesday in Miami. Fans are delighted that the pair have teamed up, and the show is expected to be massively successful.

PEOPLE magazine reported on Wednesday that they will give performances together for around three months, through September. Their first show featured more than 40 tracks from their albums and was a blast for the spectators at the Sun Life Stadium.

According to reports, Beyoncé and Jay-Z have spent a lot of time preparing for the tour. They have been working non-stop to ensure their tour drops in the best way possible as they travel around America, and will hit Paris for their final two shows in September.

Over the past few days, Beyoncé has taken some pictures of herself and Jay-Z getting ready for their tour, which she released to the pubic via the ever-so-convenient means of social media.

MSVN-TV News in Miami reported that fans of Beyoncé and Jay-Z arrived at the venue from far and wide and were very excited to see the performance.

The show itself was an eclectic mix of hip-hip meets pop and USA Today described it as a “Tantalizing spectacle with triumphant vocals, palpable sensuality and booty-shaking anthems.”

The only factor that dampened the show’s success (literally)was the weather.

Fans endured heavy rains as they waited for hours outside the stadium for the doors to open. When they finally made it inside they were greeted by sopping wet aisles and seats, although the rain did subside before the start of the show.

Beyoncé is currently promoting the latest song from her self-titled album, which was released at the end of 2013 via social media.

For his part, Jay-Z released his Magna Carta Holy Grail project which has been doing extremely well to date.

The next stop on the Beyoncé and Jay-Z On the Run tour will be at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati on Saturday night.
