‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Season 5 Cast Rumor: Is Suzanne Somers Really Joining ‘RHOBH’?

A big rumor is going around that Suzanne Somers will join the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 5 cast. RadarOnline cites a report from Life & Style magazine just out that the the Three’s Company star will be added to the cast because Andy Cohen is pushing for it.

An unidentified source tells L&S:

“Andy feels like she would be perfect for the show. She is so wacky, funny and eccentric that she would be great!”

The insider further reveals to the tabloid that Somers is “super excited” to appear on RHOBH. It was noted that there would be resentment among the current cast members of the show — Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville, Kyle Richards, Kim Richards, and Yolanda Foster — because Suzanne Somers is an established household name and they aren’t. The source adds:

“They’d be jealous of her, of course. Suzanne isn’t mean, so she wouldn’t be backstabbing the ladies.”

According to an exclusive report by EOnline, their sources tell them Suzanne Somers is not appearing on season 5 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. A rep for Somers told the reputable media source this:

“We do not have any comment, since no one has contacted Suzanne about these talks.”

If Somers hasn’t even been contacted by Bravo, it’s likely this is just another rumor that won’t come to be. Somers was on Access Hollywood Live in early June saying she doesn’t want to be on the Real Housewives shows, because, “That’s not my nature. I don’t fight.”

The actress has also been contacted about joining the cast of The View, but turned that down as well because she doesn’t want to be “screaming” for time on the show.

Once again, speculations are running wild about what new housewives will be on RHOBH. That always happens this time of year. At this time last year, Lisa Rinna’s name was buzzing in the headlines about possibly joining the show, but that never turned out to be true.

Carlton Gebbia and Joyce Giraud were new cast members on the reality show last year, but aren’t coming back for season 5. Bravo is casting several women to appear on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, but so far no one in particular has been named. The women have just signed on for another season, including Lisa Vanderpump. She was taking her time in deciding what she wanted to do, but ultimately signed her contract to be back for season 5.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 5 airs this Fall on Bravo Monday nights.
