Fire Breaks Out At Disneyland

According to The Associated Press,a small fire that broke out in the backstage area of Disneyland has been put out after producing visible smoke inside the theme park.

Disneyland spokeswoman Lisa Greathouse says the blaze was reported Sunday afternoon in a loading dock area. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time, and no one appeared to be injured. The fire was under control shortly after it started, Greathouse told the Orange County Register.

She said firefighters put out the blaze within 20 minutes, and they're trying to determine the cause of the fire.

Park-goers shared pictures of the smoke on social media Sunday.

"We were about to get on the tram and my friend saw smoke starting up," said Hermosa Beach resident Jason Gordon. "It seemed like it was behind the scenes."

Smoke could be seen in the park, but there were no injuries or evacuations.

At this time the cause of the blaze s still being investigated.
