Daniel Radcliffe Talks About ‘The Friend Zone’ In Live Interview [VIDEO]

Star of the Harry Potter Series and Broadway sensation, Daniel Radcliffe, recently participated in a live interview on Buzzfeed Brews. During the interview, he opened up on his view about what “the friend zone” is.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, Daniel Radcliffe has shown an expressed interest in playing Robin opposite Ben Affleck’s Batman. Maybe that’s just an outlet for him since he’s been stubbed three times at the Tony Awards despite putting on some fantastic performances on Broadway. I will say this, it is better way to blow off steam compared to what he did due to the stress of playing Harry Potter, that is becoming an alcoholic.

Anyways, during the interview, the conversation took a turn in which Daniel Radcliffe was asked to answer a couple of questions that centers around “the friend zone” scenario. The first question was if a man and a woman could honestly be friends, in which the answer is yes. He explained that if there is no attraction, then there shouldn’t be any problems with both of them having a relationship. However, if they do have some reciprocal feelings, then being friends might become a problem.

The second question was if Daniel Radcliffe was ever in a situation where he was in “the friend zone”. Of course he said yes, but there was a moment that both of them could have taken their relationship to the next level. Fortunately for him (and for thousands of screaming Harry Potter fan girls), they both amicably agreed not to pursue the relationship, and because of their choices, they are still friends. Daniel even says he is very happy with his decision too. I honestly wonder if that woman he is talking about could possibly be the actress who played Hermoine, Emma Watson? Or maybe it was the actress who played Ginny, Bonnie Wright. Sorry, that’s just my mind’s imagination working again.

So what do you all think? Is “Harry Potter” correct on relationships between a man and a woman? He is surely right about “the friend zone”, but what man doesn’t fear “the friend zone” right?
