Austin Mahone could end up taking home three more awards later this summer.
The singer is having a little trouble selling copies of his album The Secret, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the guy isn’t popular. In fact, Mahone recently scored no less than three nominations at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. Fans can vote for the singer over at the event’s official website.
According to Enstarz, Austin Mahone scored a nod for Choice Male Artist. The category also includes such notable talents as Justin Timberlake, Jason Derulo, Pharrell Williams, Ed Sheeran, and Pitbull, the latter of whom worked on Mahone’s “Mmm Yeah.”
Austin is also up for such honors as Choice Male Hottie and Choice Smile. If you think the guy seriously deserves a trophy for the aforementioned accomplishments, then you need to cast your vote soon. Get your friends and family in on the action as well — every little bit helps when it comes to these fan-driven award shows.

Can your brain handle ever more Austin Mahone-oriented excitement? E! Online reports that the singer recently discussed what he’s looking for in that special someone. Unfortunately for those folks who are getting ready to alter their entire personalities to meet his requirements, the guy isn’t looking for romance at the moment. That’s what we in the industry refer to as a serious “bummer.”
Austin told the outlet:
“[I want] a girl that loves to travel because I do a lot of that and a girl that doesn’t mind waking up at 4 am. I wait until everyone’s asleep and then I work out.”
Of course, Mahone just revealed to the world when he’ll head down to the hotel gym during his adventures around the world. If you want to catch Austin getting sweaty in his workout clothes, then stake out the gym during the wee hours of the morning. That’s apparently when the guy loves to get down to business.
Considering the amount of attention the singer is getting these days, it’s a little strange that people aren’t shelling out money to pick up his album. The Inquisitr previously reported that album sales are lower than expected, which came as a shock to his label.
“The kid can close down any mall in America, but we are struggling to sell a meaningful amount of records,” Republic Records president Avery Lipman said.
