Wiz Khalifa Teams Up With RAW Rolling Papers
Wiz Khalifa is turning his love of marijuana into a new business venture.
Since it’s always good to invest your time and energy into something you love, the rapper is reportedly teaming up with the folks over at RAW Rolling Papers for a line of weed-oriented products. When you decide to roll a joint cigarette while listening to Khalifa’s new album later this year, you can truly get the full experience.
The Boom Box reports that Wiz Khalifa’s partnership with the company will include a branded line of “rolling papers, tips, and trays.” Although certain shops across the country will begin carrying some of these items later this month, the rapper plans to unveil more products as the summer wears on. Not surprisingly, Khalifa had nothing but positive things to say about the collaboration in the official press release. Since the guy seems to have built a career out of getting lifted, this seems like something that should have happened a long time ago.
“I’m really excited to have my own line of papers with RAW. I’ve been using the product for years and it only felt right to make this happen with them,” Wiz explained.
Even the rapper’s label is jazzed about the idea:
“We are excited to launch the Wiz Khalifa collection of papers, tips and trays with RAW®. Wiz is a creative genius and was involved throughout the process of development. I think people will be impressed with the quality and interesting packs.”
According to High Times, Wiz Khalifa’s rolling paper’s will include a handy poker to help make the best hand-rolled joints cigarettes possible. The RAW Rolling Paper’s founder said the idea came to him after he watched the rapper scramble for a poker backstage.
He explained:
“That night Wiz told me ‘See, Josh you need to include a poker with my packs.’ It took me a while to find a way to keep it integrated and natural, but now we’re proud to announce the launch of the special Wiz packs with built-in tips and poking tool. May you never spend another night of frustration searching for a pen to poke with!”
Look for Wiz Khalifa’s marijuana accessories at stores in your area in the coming days. Also keep your eyes peeled for the rapper’s new album, which should arrive very soon.
