Teresa Giudice Called ‘Felon,’ Criticized For Wine Promotion On Social Media

Teresa Giudice is under fire for promoting her line of Fabellini wines on social media just weeks before her sentencing. According to Radar Online, people on Twitter and Instagram have been quite harsh when it comes to talking about the reality star — and her fans. Those who have been supporting Teresa are being told that they are “supporting a criminal” and that Teresa will probably “steal” money from them if they attend her events.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Teresa and her husband, Joe Giudice, have been sorting out their last couple of weeks before they potentially go to jail. Teresa has chosen to keep promoting her products (wine, hair care, cookbooks), likely to make some money and make sure that she can support herself if Joe goes to prison (or gets deported).

Teresa and Joe Giudice have also been spending time together as a family with their four daughters, Gia, 13, Gabriella, 9, Melania, 8, and Audriana, 4. Aside from that, Joe has also been spending time with his friends — and some time alone. He seems to realize that he needs to take advantage of his precious “free” time and he is being wise about how he’s spending his last few weeks as a “free man” (even though the judge in the case prohibited him and his wife from leaving the states of New Jersey and New York).

Teresa Giudice has also been compared to Bernie Madoff according to Enstarz. One Twitter user said, “She is a criminal and scammer. It’s like sponsoring a party for madoff (sic).” Obviously people are going to make vicious comments toward Teresa and Joe — it’s part of being in the public eye.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey stars will appear in court for their sentencing on July 8. The two pleaded guilty to several federal fraud charges, and many expect they will both be sentenced to prison. Joe could go away for over four years and Teresa faces a little over two years. Many believe, however, that Teresa won’t be sent to jail; she may get off with probation and fines. Joe, on the other hand, will more than likely be going away for a very long time.

Needless to say, Teresa and Joe Giudice’s lives are going to change in a couple of short weeks.
