Iggy Azalea Teams Up With T.I. For ‘No Mediocre’

Iggy Azalea is definitely in high demand these days.

Since the Australian rapper has a string of hits on her hands — both “Fancy” and Ariana Grande’s “Problem” are pretty popular tunes this year — everyone is looking to capture a little of Iggy’s magic for their own projects.

According to the folks over at The Honest Hour, Azalea recently teamed up with T.I. for the new single “No Mediocre.” Fans of the rappers can get their hands on the new track on June 17. If you’re seriously into what T.I. has put together, then you can snatch his new album Paperwork: The Motion Picture when it hits retail shelves this September.

T.I isn’t the only musician out there hoping that Iggy Azalea can give their latest endeavor a little bump up the charts. The Inquisitr previously reported that the Australian rapper is teaming up with Jennifer Lopez on the upcoming album AKA. Unfortunately, details about the project are few and far between as of this writing.

Azalea told Ryan Seacrest earlier this year:

“She actually only asked me about two weeks ago, so I didn’t have to keep the secret for too long. When I opened on tour for Beyoncé I had to keep that under wraps for months, which really killed me. So this is a breeze. I love her. I definitely used to sit in my bedroom as a young girl and lip-sync Jennifer Lopez songs, so it’s very cool to have a song with her on her album.”

As if she didn’t have enough on her plate already, Azalea is reportedly putting together material for her next album. Although The New Classic just arrived earlier this year, apparently Iggy plans to get another batch of songs on the burner as soon as possible. Popdust explains that she intends to hit the studio once again this August.

Are you planning to pick up at copy of T.I. and Iggy Azalea’s “No Mediocre” when it arrives later this month?
