James Franco Returning To General Hospital In September

James Franco may currently be one of the most sought after method actors in Hollywood, a full time student at several Universities and a teacher in his spare time but that isn’t stopping him from returning as serial killer Robert “Franco” Frank on General Hospital this September.

According to the actor his character will bring about his “most twisted plan yet” when he returns to Port Charles and that plan will come just in time for his crushes wedding (Jason Morgan played by Steve Burton).

Franco first appeared on the show in 2009, his three days of shooting eventually ended up stretched over 23 episodes. Franco is returning for the fourth time, having shown up most recently in February wearing a tuxedo while shirtless and surrounded by photographs of himself while managing to poke fun at his recent Oscar’s hosting gig.

Speaking to the Vancouver Sun Franco poked fun at himself and all he’s taken on:

“You know, I’ve been doing some more art,” he says. “Self-portraits. I know, I know, multi-tasker. How about you? You kill anyone lately? Well, I miss that, I really do. Look, I could chat all night but I have to run. I have a big event to attend. Very, very big deal.”

Right before Franco returns to TV he’ll be seen starring in Rise of the Planet of the Apes which begins showing on August 5.

Next up he’ll be trying to balance a ball on his nose while writing a dissertation in Latin regarding the state of modern Greek theater while singing Opera to orphaned seals. In all seriousness is there anything this guy can’t do or at least try.
