John Goodman Signs On For ‘Community’ Season 3

All is right in the world of NBC programming this year, at least in the case of hit comedy series Community which just announced that actor extraordinaire John Goodman will be joining the crazy cast for season 3!

As a huge fan of the show and every member of the Greendale Community College cast I can’t wait to see what Goodman will bring to the table.

Heading into Season 3 the school is in search of a new Vice Dean and Goodman will be in consideration for that role during at least six episodes.

Series Creator Dan Harmon told NYMag:

“The Greendale Community College only has one part of it that is actually nationally renowned, and it’s their air conditioning repair program. And it’s sort of a separate annex on the campus that puts itself above the rest of the school, and ironically has more power than the campus itself.”

John Goodman and his ability to play the grumpy yet loveable characters of TV and screen seems like a great addition to the Community cast and as a huge fan of the show I can’t wait to see what type of quirkiness he’ll bring to the series, after all he has already shown his ability to play crazy when co-starring on The Big Lebowski.
