Monica Seles To Own The Buffalo Bills Via Engagement To Tom Golisano? Donald Trump, Jon Bon Jovi Haters Rejoice!

Could Monica Seles’ engagement to Tom Golisano eventually mean she will be owner of the Buffalo Bills if the sale goes through? Haters of Donald Trump and Jon Bon Jovi may rejoice at that bit of news.

In a related report by The Inquisitr, Monica Seles first began dating the much older billionaire back in 2009. But the idea that Trump or Bon Jovi may become the new Buffalo Bills owner has fans worried that the latter may attempt to move the team to another city:

“The biggest objection Buffalo Bills fans have to the idea is that Jon Bon Jovi may attempt to move the football team franchise away from Buffalo. These rumors are also reasonable because the city of Buffalo is the second small market for the NFL compared to bigger cities. But a move would be complicated by a 10-year lease recently signed for Ralph Wilson Stadium, one that has a $400 million penalty for moving the team within the next seven years.”

Bills fans are so upset by this possibility that they are raising millions of dollars in an attempt to keep the NFL team where it is now. They’ve even organized a ban on Bon Jovi because of the rumors. Charles Pellien, one of four fans who came up with the Bon Jovi boycott, says they have nothing against Bon Jovi but they are taking a stand for their team:

“It’s nothing personal. If Santa Claus was coming to Buffalo and telling us he was going to take our team to the North Pole, we would be boycotting Santa Claus.”

The good news is that Donald Trump has made it abundantly clear that if he were the new owner he would not try and move the Buffalo Bill to another city. He also claims to be quite serious about the Buffalo Bills sale and would invest in upgrading the stadium if he became the new owner.

So how do Monica Seles and Tom Golisano fit into the picture? Although the two both currently live in Florida, Galisano has owned the Buffalo Sabres for several years. He also recently expressed interest in the Buffalo Bills sale because he wants to keep the NFL team where it is now:

“The important thing is someone buys (the team) and keeps it in western New York. Do I feel it has to be me? No, I’m not possessed about owning the Buffalo Bills, just as I wasn’t possessed about owning the Buffalo Sabres. They were in danger of leaving, too. In fact they were a lot closer to leaving than the Bills are. I got involved then because I wanted to keep that entity in western New York, and I want to keep the Buffalo Bills in western New York.”

Monica Seles’ engagement to the 72-year-old billionaire comes into play. The tennis player is only 40 years old and is highly likely to survive her future husband. Depending on NFL ownership structures and prenuptial agreements, it is possible that in the long run she could become the Buffalo Bills owner.

Who would you like to see become the new Buffalo Bills owner the most?
