Tim McGraw Interview Sneak Peek: The Real Answers Everyone Has Been Waiting For [Video]

In a highly-anticipated interview, Tim McGraw opens up about everything important in his life. This is what everyone has been waiting for. We’ll get real answers and honest talk from the very person who’s often in the press for a number of rumors — mostly about his marriage to Faith Hill.

Oprah’s Master Class has highlights of what the country music star will cover during his in-depth interview scheduled for Sunday night. McGraw talks about his marriage, fatherhood, career, creating songs, and his backstory.

McGraw shares how he followed his heart going into the music industry. At a young age, he informed his mother that he wanted to drop out of school, leave Louisiana, and head to Nashville. Her reaction? She was surprised he hadn’t done it sooner. The upstart country singer sold his skis, shotguns and everything he owned. McGraw says he jumped in with both feet, no hesitation:

“I got on a Greyhound bus and got to Nashville at 4 in the morning. Never looked back.”

Tim McGraw says he pursued the career because it was his calling. In the interview, he tells Oprah:

“I knew that I wanted to do this no matter what happened. If I was going to be playing in a club and barely making my rent or if I was going to be you know playing in front of 100,000 people, I didn’t care. I was going to be playing music.”

What Tim says about his wife should set the record straight in regards to their marriage. The tabloids have been on a relentless feeding fest of rocky marriage reports of the country super couple.

On the subject of Faith, McGraw shares that he’d already done the “beer and chasing girls” stage by the time he met her. He says with a laugh:

“I was instantly hooked. I think it took her a lot longer than it took me.”

The 47-year-old singer and Faith have three daughters together; Gracie, 16, Maggie, 14, and Audrey, 11. Tim will discuss family life and how fatherhood has impacted his life.

As for the rumors plaguing Tim and Faith, the two made a statement onstage at the Country Music Awards Festival in Nashville last week. aEOnline reports they shared a passionate kiss after singing a duet.

Also in the interview, McGraw also talks about songs and the key elements needed to create an amazing piece of music.

He’ll undoubtedly address any misconceptions that are written about him. One of the biggest concerns out there has been about his health since he’s taken on a more active, healthier lifestyle.
