‘True Tori’ Reaction From Another ‘90210’ Star: Ian Ziering Talks ‘True Tori’ Fiasco

More reaction is stemming from another 90210 star about the reality show Tori Spelling appears on, True Tori. Spelling’s show leaves little to the imagination and every problem she has in her dysfunctional marriage to Dean McDermott is put on display. Ian Ziering talks True Tori and how he feels about one of Beverly Hills 90210’s most beloved stars sinking to the level she has in exposing her life.

Ziering spoke with Access Hollywood exclusively in his interview:

“I’ve seen clips… it’s not appointment television for me. It’s tough to watch. It saddens me to see Tori going through all this pain, that there are kids involved.”

Ian Ziering feels badly for Spelling going to such drastic lengths to remain relevant in the public eye He says:

“I have a tremendous amount of love for Tori and, it’s just sad. I’m sad.”

Ian agrees that, sure, the atrocious drama makes for good television, but it’s a “train wreck.” He doesn’t understand why True Tori is on television to begin with:

“I don’t know what to make of it It’s a train wreck, it’s a train wreck! And I can’t explain it, because I don’t know the details. I’m just as a witness and a bystander, like we all are.”

Ziering believes Spelling is a smart woman despite her decision to let the world in on her troubled marriage:

“It just seems as there is nothing sacred. I don’t know. But, I do know that Tori is a smart girl… she’s a smart girl. She knows what she is doing.”

Former 90210 co-star, Jason Priestley, is sad for Tori Spelling, too. In his interview with Watch What Happens Live, Zap2it has a recap of what he said about Tori Spelling:

“Um, I feel bad for Tori, I feel very badly for her. But I don’t think the whole thing has been staged…. I think zero percent has been staged for their reality show.”

He adds this about Dean McDermott:

“But I don’t think Dean did that thing in Toronto…. He wasn’t especially kind to me the one time that I met the guy, but that certainly doesn’t make him a cheater.”

Tori Spelling was the innocent and smart girl on Beverly Hills 90210. It’s a huge shock for her former cast mates to witness the actress-turned-reality star dive into the most extreme kind of television there is by any standards. Ian Ziering and Jason Priestley certainly don’t believe there’s anything fake about True Tori, but feel sorry for Spelling.
