‘DWTS’ Karina Smirnoff ‘Desperate’ To Have A Baby?

Dancing With The Stars pro Karina Smirnoff is reportedly “desperate” to have a baby before she turns 40. The ballroom pro is reportedly working with a fertility doctor in order to freeze her eggs so that she may one day become a mother. According to Radar Online, Smirnoff, 36, is taking measures into her own hands as her previous relationships haven’t done the trick for her.

A source explained:

“Karina has frozen her eggs and is considering going the route of a sperm donor. She hasn’t been too successful in dating and desperately wants a baby, so she’s been working with a fertility doctor since last fall to discuss her options.”

Karina Smirnoff isn’t getting any younger, and while it may still be possible for her to get pregnant, she wants to be sure that she is prepared in case she can’t. The dancer wants not one but two children so taking the proper steps to increase her chances of that happening is probably a smart idea.

“She’s been single for so long, but is 100% sure she wants at least two children. She knows she’s not getting any younger and she wants to make sure she doesn’t miss her chance. Karina said she isn’t going to wait for the right guy to come along. She has money and she is very secure and steady in her life — so she’s going to focus on herself and her happiness.”

Speaking of money, Karina Smirnoff has her eye on a new gig. According to WetPaint, Smirnoff is eying Len Goodman’s job as a judge on Dancing With The Stars… you know, if the job actually becomes available.

Smirnoff recently said:

“There is a job opening. I’m going to send them my resume. Len is the only judge out of the three that actually grew up in the ballroom world. We have Carrie Ann [Inaba] who knows performance and lifts and Bruno [Tonioli] obviously has judging qualities but Len is the ballroom person. I think we definitely need a ballroom person because it is a ballroom show. But, yeah, I’m totally going to campaign for that job now.”

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, veteran Dancing With The Stars judge, Len Goodman, is thinking of leaving the show. Since he also judges a dancing competition show in the UK, some say the travel is getting to be too much for him. Aside from Karina, there are several other people who want Len’s seat — including Maks Chmerkovskiy!
