Sharon Osbourne Isn’t Heading Back To ‘The X Factor’

Sharon Osbourne currently has no desire to return to The X Factor UK.

The former America’s Got Talent judge has no real problem with the singing competition, but that doesn’t mean she’s down for another stint on the show. Fans who were hoping she’d return to the British series at some point in the near future shouldn’t hold their breath. Chances are it’s not going to happen.

According to MTV News, there’s still one spot left to fill on The X Factor UK. While some folks who would to see Sharon get back in the proverbial ring, Osbourne explained that she’s more interested in spending time with her family these days. What’s more, she’s only considering Stateside offers at the moment.

“No, no, no, you can’t go back again. No. Love the show, it’s become a part of British culture, everybody loves it, you can’t help but get pulled into it but no, it’s too much,” Osbourne explained.

She added, “I’d lose my job in America because they let me out for one season. I’d wake up in hotel rooms and not know where I was. Also I’ve got a family so I can’t do it.”

The Belfast Telegraph reports that Sharon Osbourne also crushed the hopes and dreams of those individuals who are still hoping for another season of The Osbournes. In short: Sharon and the family have no desire to head back into the world of reality television.

“That done. I wouldn’t mind maybe doing one episode; ‘The Osbournes’ now, what’s happened to us all, that kind of thing, but I don’t know that we’d want to do a full series,” she said.

In fact, it would appear that Osbourne is finished with singing competitions altogether. The Inquisitr previously reported that Sharon has nothing but disdain for shows like The Voice and the people they seem to attract.

“If one more person stands in front of me and sings. I tell you, I’ve had it with people singing at me and I’ve had it watching people singing on TV,” Sharon recently told Conan O’Brien.

She continued, “And they’ve all got something wrong — they’ve either got one lung, one kidney… They’ve all got somebody sick in hospital and it’s like, ‘Oh Lord, just shut up and sing!’ But then, when they sing, it’s like, ‘Please stop it, I can’t take it anymore.'”
