Rob Ackroyd: Florence + The Machine Guitarist Hooks Up With Katy Perry

Rob Ackroyd and Katy Perry are apparently on again.

The Florence + The Machine guitarist and Perry have had an ongoing relationship, and after the pair were spotted engaging in some PDA during a celebration in London, it appears they have rekindled the spark.

The couple was in the UK for Perry’s “Prismatic World Tour,” and witnesses said they looked very much like a couple.

“Katy and Rob seemed to be very much back together at her party on Saturday night,” a source told The Sun. “They were inseparable, kissing, flirting and cuddling away in front of the roadies, celebs and friends at the bash.”

Insiders say that Rob and Katy remained friends after they broke up in their initial relationship. They started dating early in 2012, and were spotted together at the Coachella Music Festival that year.

But sources told E! News said that the relationship wasn’t too serious, and the pair had broken up within a month of being spotted together.

“She likes him a lot, but it was just a distraction,” the source said at the time. “It was very short-lived, she’s still dealing with getting over her marriage [to Russell Brand] and it’s going to take her a while to truly be able to trust anyone again.”

The relationship with Rob Ackroyd comes after what was a messy ending for Katy Perry and John Mayer. After growing serious in their second go-round, Perry and Mayer split abruptly. Sources say that John moved on pretty quickly with actress Kelly Monaco.

“[John and Kelly] hooked up immediately,” a source told Perez Hilton. “She was open to the things that John’s into, like sexy toys, tying each other up and threesomes. He couldn’t get enough. Kelly was still on his mind. He would text her and try and get her to meet him either at his place in L.A. or a hotel out in the Valley.”

At the time, Katy Perry said she wasn’t thinking much about the end of the relationship but instead focusing on the Prismatic World Tour.

“I’m challenging myself again, pushing my limits as I do, as a Scorpio does,” she told E!’s Marc Malkin. “I’m very excited because I believe this is my best work yet as far as live performances. It’s going to be just as colorful and fun as before, but it’s obviously not based on candy. It’s grown up. It’s more mature.”

Neither Rob Ackroyd nor Katy Perry have officially confirmed the relationship.
