‘Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills’ Season 5 Cast: Changes Bravo Is Making With Casting

Bravo is making cast changes to Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 5. The roster is down from seven cast members to five with the network is firing two ladies from the show.

According to Us Weekly, multiple sources reveal that Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia are axed from appearing on the show next season. Both women were on only one season after joining the cast last year. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast currently remains with the standard cast that includes Lisa Vanderpump, Brandi Glanville, Kyle Richards, Kim Richards, and Yolanda Foster.

“Decisions were made and Joyce and Carlton have been informed that they’re not coming back,” a show insider tells Us.

Giraud, 39, is a former Miss Puerto Rico and Gebbia, 40, is an interior designer who practices Wicca. Joyce and Brandi fighting all the time while Carlton and Kyle let religious beliefs come between them isn’t enough for Bravo to keep them around, it seems.

Speaking with Giuliana Rancic of E! News, Carlton gives her reaction upon learning she’s fired from the Real Housewives reality show.

“I sort of look at it as a blessing in disguise because my husband does have a project in the works, a reality show. It’s something that would give me the opportunity to work with him. I was contractually obligated for a three-year deal and if that’s the case, I’m not anymore.”

The British interior designer adds:

“I really have enjoyed working for Bravo!”

Carlton admits she won’t miss the worst parts about being on RHOBH:

“I would like to go into a show and not have to watch the knives coming at my back. That would be great!”

Bravo has yet to officially announce the latest cast decisions being reported on. The firing of Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia has been expected, so this isn’t a huge surprise to a lot of viewers. Does this mean two more women will replace them? There’s no word at this moment, but Bravo typically introduces new cast members to keep dynamics on the show fresh and compelling.

Lisa Vanderpump has gone on record questioning her stay with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because of the way she was treated in season 4. Her relationship with Brandi Glanville is terrible and she feels like everyone rails against her. An Inquisitr article touches on why Lisa is allegedly losing close friendships with other cast mates.

Will more cast members be fired or added to next season? There’s a long wait until RHOBH starts up again and anything can happen.

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 5 premieres this Fall on Bravo.
