Tonight is the beginning of a whole new season for America’s Got Talent (AGT). This year promises the best talent ever according to two of the four judges, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel, as they excitedly told Hollywood Life. Of course, AGT will also bring back judges Howard Stern and Mel B, with everyone’s favorite, Nick Cannon, as the host.
Klum tells Hollywood Life that this year’s crop of talent on AGT is the best anyone has seen yet. She believes that viewers watching AGT from home are inspired by the talent and think, “I can do this better.”
Howie Mandel agrees with Klum, telling Hollywood Life that the level of talent on Season 9 of AGT is better than ever. Mandel continued, “The electricity and the performance of the people showing up (to compete on AGT) is off the charts.”
According to the judges, they believe the reason for the increased level of AGT performers is because of changes in the show itself. Without revealing any spoilers, Howie admits, “You’re going to see a new and different America’s Got Talent.”
AGT is certainly never lacking in entertainment for its audience. NBC is proud of AGT. In fact, Paul Telegdy, president of alternative and late-night programming at NBC Entertainment, told Variety that America’s Got Talent (AGT) has a “long life ahead of it.”
AGT fans hope it’s true as we anxiously wait to see what unfolds on the stage, each and every week. If it’s anything like last season’s Kenichi Ebina, we can hardly wait. Bring it on, AGT!
