Big Bang Theory: The Latest!

CBS’s hit show Big Bang Theory has concluded their seventh season and we have the latest dish on the actors, and possible storylines for season eight!

Just a few days after the Big Bang Theory finale, Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting (Penny) finally sold her bachelorette pad in Sherman Oaks, CA for $2.56 million after listing the home for $2.75 million just a few months ago. The Big Bang Theory star’s recently sold home is 10 years old, features an open floor plan, gourmet kitchen, and five bedrooms.

Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon on Big Bang Theory, made a scheduled appearance on Ellen this week and was encountered with a touchy subject. The very private Parsons was grilled by Ellen DeGeneres about his possible wedding with boyfriend Todd Spiewak, with whom he’s been in a relationship for eleven years.

Ellen asks bluntly, “Are you going to get married?” Parsons hesitantly answers, “I don’t know. That’s a hard one. You get used to life as it is,” obviously startled by the line of questioning.

Ellen continues to explain how marriage is wonderful, pushing the Big Bang Theory star to fess up to some sort of plan. Parsons stops short of answering directly the questions being asked by Ellen. So, no big plans for a wedding between Jim Parsons and his beau, Todd Spiewak.

According to Variety, Johnny Galecki, Leonard on Big Bang Theory, has agreed to star in a horror-comedy titled “Master Cleanse” along with Chloe Sevigny and Angelica Huston. The film is scheduled to start production in July and will be introduced to potential buyers at the Cannes Film Festival with a pre-production clip later this year. Cleanse will star Galecki as his character decides to restart his life by joining a spiritual retreat designed to cleanse negative toxins from your body, only to discover the cleanse releases something far greater than toxins and traumatic experiences.

Big Bang Theory has had its fair share of controversy regarding the show’s censorship in China. Both the show’s creator, and the Chinese government have been vocal about the Big Bang Theory‘s content and how it fits in with the government’s idea of Chinese culture.

Big Bang Theory‘s season seven saw Penny and Leonard finally get engaged! Their on again, off again relationship seems to heading for an “on for good” status with a wedding. Sheldon still has hesitation toward having a relationship with Amy. Jim Parsons has no idea where the characters will end up. He seems fairly confident that the Big Bang Theory writers will keep the pace slow with lots of ups and downs. No, we won’t see Sheldon “grow up” in a hurry, nor will we see Amy rushing him to the altar. Part of the allure of Big Bang Theory is the quirkiness of the characters. Fans surely do not want to see the characters change in the blink of an eye. Fans have confidence in the writers of Big Bang Theory to keep things the same.
