WWE Raw Results: London’s O2 Arena Erupts

The wonderful world of WWE spread its proverbial wings for this week’s Raw Monday as they traveled across the pond for their tour of England. In this case, the big men lit up London’s O2 Arena with an action packed extravaganza which, by all accounts, was a great improvement on last week’s show.

You might be under the mistaken impression that Brits are reserved and quiet, but, oh no! They may not be quite as loud as American WWE enthusiasts, but they made a heck of a lot of noise as the London arena erupted with excitement.

Before we talk more about he specifics, lets get the important part out the way; the WWE Raw results:

– Cesaro defeated Sheamus

– Beat the Clock Challenge: Big E def. Ryback (5:02)

– Rusev defeated Heath Slater

– Beat the clock Challenge: Rob Van Dam def. Alberto Del Rio (0:52)

– Seth Rollins defeated Batista via disqualification

– Alicia Fox defeated Paige

– Beat the Clock Challenge: Dolph Ziggler-Mark Henry went to time limit draw (Van Dam wins the beat the clock challenge)

– John Cena defeated Luke Harper via disqualification

No massive shockers there but remember, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan underwent successful surgery on his neck last week and the timetable for his return is still unknown.

In an effort to stretch that situation out for another long week, Stephanie McMahon didn’t strip Bryan of the championship Monday. Instead, she gave him until next week to surrender it to her. For her part, McMahon went all out with this promo, walking out to Bryan’s music and mocking his “Yes!” chant.

As per usual, John Cena and Bray Wyatt played a game of one-upmanship. Wyatt kicked things off in the ring with all his U.K fans and cut a promo on John Cena. Suddenly, Cena’s music kicked in, prompting Wyatt to send Luke Harper and Erick Rowan to meet Cena on the ramp.

But Cena was wise to it and came through the crowd to Wyatt and dealt with him. When Harper and Rowan jumped back into the ring to help Wyatt, Cena quickly ducked out of the ring instead of fighting 3-on-1.

For the main event, Cena was pitted against Harper, but he didn’t show up in the ring alone. He brought with him the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Usos, for full effect. The match between Cena and Harper was a good one, even though Cena won in the end.

Another highlight on the night was Alicia Fox, who seemed to turn into a crazy woman possessed after her defeat to Divas Champion Paige. Even though she beat Paige this week, she still went nuts after the fight.

There was so much action at the WWE Raw event in London that it can’t all be spelled out here in black and white. So, for your viewing pleasure and convenience, we have embedded some of the best clips from the night.
