Lil Wayne Teases New Track As Hint Of ‘Carter V’ Tour Hits Twitter


Lil Wayne, like many hot artists, likes to hint and tease at projects in the works, and on his online Weezy Wednesday series, the rapper previewed a new track: “D’usse”. According to MTV, this new song comes shortly after Lil Wayne released his Tha Carter V single, “Believe Me.”

“Believe Me” was the first single off of Lil Wayne’s upcoming album Tha Carter V, and he pulled out all the stops for this one. According to MTV, Weezy partnered up with fellow rapper, Drake, to create the first single off of what is rumored to be Lil Wayne’s final album.

In his video released Wednesday, Lil Wayne gave a shout out to fellow rapper Jay Z according to AllHipHIp News. MTV suggests that this little shout out may be a hint to fans that the two could have a collaboration in the works. The video taunt released by Lil Wayne doesn’t provide fans with too much, but just enough to get them excited. Check out the clip for yourself:

The sneak peek into Weezy’s “D’usse” isn’t the only hint into the rapper’s future projects. According to Complex Music, fellow artist Lil Twist let it slip yesterday that he plans on touring with Lil Wayne this summer to promote his Tha Carter V album.

With this tweet, the web has exploded with excitement over a possible summer tour. According to Music Times, it’s no big surprise that Lil Wayne would be going on tour to promote his upcoming Tha Carter V album, but it does bring in to question when the album will actually be released.
