Jennifer Aniston has always been a media favorite and seems to find herself making the celebrity news headlines on a regular basis. The headlines are usually to do with her love life, her life since Friends, or her looks.
This time though, Aniston revealed to ABC News some interesting secrets about the daily trials and tribulations she has with her hair. She began by confirming that, understandably, she takes all the attention on her as a great compliment:
“It’s funny and entertaining in a way and it’s of course very flattering to say the least,” she said about the focus of attention she gets, “But I always have such a chuckle when I hear people saying I have great hair because as a kid it was always a challenge.”
Who knew that Jennifer Aniston had “challenging” hair as a kid? Now, it appears that no matter her hair style, it always looks perfect. Aniston. 45, said that these days she favors a “low-maintenance approach” and only washes her hair once every two or three days!
Of course, she took the opportunity to plug Living Proof hair products, for whom she is a spokeswoman, saying that it’s thanks to those products specifically that her hair looks great.
Aniston continued: “I don’t get a lot of product build-up with Living Proof and my hair doesn’t get dirty straight away. I wash my hair with No Frizz Shampoo and Conditioner. With PHD Styling Treatment I can air-dry and style my hair in 10 minutes, when it used to take 25 minutes.”
Jennifer Aniston also revealed that, like most people, she does have a favorite “splurge” and that splurge is her regular appointments with her best friend (who happens to be a hair stylist) Chris McMillan, who was also her hairdresser during her time on Friends.
She admitted to reporters that her Rachel hairdo was the hardest of all to maintain: “The ‘Rachel’ was one of the hardest hairstyles to maintain. Me and the blow dryer and the hairbrush weren’t meant for each other,” she joked.
