Demi Lovato Says She’s Willing To Date Anyone
Demi Lovato doesn’t spend too much time looking for a particular type of guy when she’s on the prowl for a boyfriend.
Although the singer is currently spending a lot of her romantic time with former That ’70s Show star Wilmer Valderrama, Lovato explained that she didn’t start dating the guy simply because of his race. During her recent chat with Cosmopolitan, Demi explained that she’s open to dating people from all walks of life.
Fans who were wondering if their heritage would throw a monkey wrench in their plans for sweeping Demi Lovato off her feet are probably in the middle of a happy dance right about now. If she decides to kick Valderrama to the curb, then at least folks know their ethnicity isn’t stopping Lovato from giving them the time of day.

“I have [dated Latinos], but it’s not important to me — I don’t have a nationality preference. I don’t really have a type. I don’t think that you fall in love with someone for their clothes or their style. For me, it’s about the person,” Demi told the publication.
Although Demi Lovato is open to dating any type of guy, fans shouldn’t expect her to share these experiences with the world. When rumors started circulating that she was getting back together with her ex-boyfriend, Lovato pretty much told Ryan Seacrest to mind his own business.
“He is an incredible human being and I am honored to have him in my life, but I do feel like, regardless of what the status is, I share so much with the world that I like to keep some things private and it’s something I don’t want to talk about,” Lovato explained last year.
The singer added, “You can do whatever you want. You can be seen holding hands. You can be seen wherever, but it doesn’t mean you have to talk about it or acknowledge it because it opens up a can of worms.”
Demi Lovato isn’t the only pop star who’s discussing the fellas they’re willing to date these days. The Inquisitr previously reported that Ariana Grande doesn’t necessarily have a “type,” though good boys need not apply.
“[I like a guy with] lots of tattoos… I don’t really have a type, type. But I love guys that can make me laugh. I love funny guys, I love a bad boy. I tried the good boy thing for a minute and I was like, ‘No, Oh my gosh, that won’t work,” she told E! Online.
