Vanessa Minnillo Explains A Surprisingly Simple Technique To Keep Romance Alive After Pregnancy

Next month’s Parents magazine covers the hot couple Vanessa Minnillo and Nick Lachey along with their 20–month old son Camden.

As has been reported by The Inquisitr, Vanessa has been truly focused on parenthood and hence her fans were left wondering whether the romance had been replaced by motherhood. However, 33–year old Vanessa offered a very simple, but oft–neglected technique to keep the romance alive even after pregnancy, child–birth and of course, during child rearing. In their interview for the magazine the couple discussed at length, how they successfully managed to keep their marriage alive all the while they raised a toddler. Of course, while Vanessa is a doting mother, she is equally committed to Nick, reported abc news.

Minnillo explained that establishing a routine that allows her to spend time alone with Lachey has been a huge help. In simpler words, the couple ensured they set aside a time that was dedicated to be spent in the company of each other. Moreover, both had agreed that they keep distractions at bay and solely focus on each other for the precious few moments. This routine was never to be broken and was to be followed on a daily basis.

Interestingly the technique, though very elementary, can be improved significantly with the simplest of add-ons explained Vanessa, “We put on some music or a favorite TV show, pour a glass of wine, have dinner — that’s our ‘alone time,”

The couple has smartly established this ‘alone–time’ after their son, Camden dozes off for the day. For the couple, that time begins when the little one goes to sleep at around 7:30 p.m., reported UPI.

However, though they have managed to find some alone time, Vanessa confessed that the same was made possible only because the couple tried hard to set a sleep schedule for their son, “That’s why it was so important to us to establish Camden’s sleep schedule right out of the gate. I had six different moms telling me, ‘Get him on a routine; you will thank yourself later,” shared the TV star.

Vanessa Minnillo had wed Nick Lachey less than six months, before the couple announced their pregnancy, but they did have an extended pre–marriage honeymoon, which Vanessa stresses is very critical to, “know your man.”

While the couple doesn’t have a lot of ‘marriage mileage’ under their belt, Vanessa Minnillo’s technique surely is one of the most elemental requirements for all marriages to stay strong through the years.
