Keri Russell Prepares for Second Child, ‘Austenland’ Lead Role

Actress Keri Russell is pregnant yet again, reports People, after getting the confirmation from the 35-year-old Felicty star’s rep.

The forthcoming “bundle of joy” will be number two for Keri and her husband Shane Deary, who married in February of 2007 and shortly after had their first child together – a now 4-year-old boy named River Russel Deary.

Russell, who most recently starred in FOX Network’s comedy series Running Wilde, says she enjoys the balance between work and home that acting offers.

“I get to work really hard for three months but then I get to be home for four months where I get to put him to bed every night,” said Russell in a previous interview.

In addition to the exciting “new baby” news, Keri also recently landed a starring role in the upcoming romantic comedy Austenland – the producing debut of Twilight author Stephenie Meyer.

In the film, Russell will play a woman obsessed with one of literature’s most famous leading men, Pride and Prejudice’s Mr. Darcy. Since no real man can measure up to the fictional character, she goes to a Jane Austen-themed resort where visitors dress and act the part of Austen characters.

Congratulations Keri and Shane on the expanding family.
