Accused Child Molester Claims He Was Seduced By 11-Year-Old Victim

An accused child molester claims he was seduced by his 11-year-old victim. Cleo Morgan, age 67, is charged with two counts of child molestation and four counts of statutory sodomy. The Missouri man is accused of molesting his neighbor’s daughter on multiple occasions.

The victim reportedly spent the night with Morgan and his wife several times throughout the last six months. In recent weeks, Morgan’s wife reportedly accused the child of “breaking up her marriage.” She eventually forbid the girl from visiting and spending the night.

In an interview with police, the 11-year-old girl said she usually slept on Morgan’s couch. However, on several evenings, the man coaxed her into his bedroom.

Authorities said Morgan’s interest in the girl escalated, as he began calling her at home — before and after school. Morgan eventually warned the girl not to tell anyone what he had done, as he would be arrested and sent to jail.

Following her last visit to Cleo Morgan’s home, the girl told an unidentified friend what had happened. Although he initially denied the allegations, Morgan later confessed.

Morgan insists that his relationship with the 11-year-old was entirely consensual. He said they did have intercourse. However, he claims he did not initiate the sexual contact.

As reported by Huffington Post, the accused child molester argued that he was seduced by the 11-year-old girl. Morgan said he was forced to end his contact with the girl, as she “got real possessive.”

Morgan’s wife, who was not identified by name, said her husband is a pedophile.

The little girl’s diary, which was entered into evidence, mentioned Morgan’s name numerous times. As reported by News Leader, the entries included “I [heart] CFM,” “HAD FUN WITH CLEO,” and “Party Cleo’s B-Day.”

Throughout her interview with police, the little girl expressed her love for Cleo Morgan. She also stated that she does not want him to get into trouble.

Although the victim may have felt close to Morgan, an 11-year-old simply does not have the mental capacity to enter into a romantic or sexual relationship with a grown man. As defined by law, Morgan is a predator and the little girl is an innocent victim.

Cleo Morgan was arrested and remains in custody at the Greene County Jail. He is currently being held on $75,000 bond.

The accused child molester refuses to take responsibility for his actions. He insists he was seduced by an 11-year-old girl.
