Mariah Carey Fans Accuse Ariana Grande Of Stealing Her Idol's Dance Moves

Mariah Carey fans think Ariana Grande's dance moves look more than a little familiar.

It's not a closely-guarded industry secret that the Sam & Cat star is a big fan of Mariah Carey's work. When Grande was first starting out, many people compared her vocal abilities to those possessed by the "Emotions" singer. While Carey may not agree with these sentiments, a lot of folks feel that Ariana isn't too far removed from Mariah's world.

However, some Mariah Carey supporters feel Grande is taking her love and adoration for the Glitter star a little too far. The folks over at Oceanup believe that the "Problem" singer jacked a few of Carey's "Honey"-era dance moves during her recent appearance at the Radio Disney Music Awards.

Mariah Carey, who hasn't publicly acknowledged the so-called dance theft as of this writing, is busy spreading the news about her upcoming Beyonce-style "surprise" album. Previously titled The Art of Letting Go, Carey's latest endeavor Me. I Am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse is currently slated to arrive on May 27. Apparently Mariah didn't properly grasp the concept of a "surprise album" when making the announcement.

"This album is a reflection of some of the peaks and valleys that made me who I am today. I've always known me. I am Mariah," the singer said of her new record.
