Austin Mahone’s Mom Helps Keep The Singer Out Of Trouble

Austin Mahone manages to stay out of trouble with a little help from his mom.

While some pop stars are struggling to maintain a positive image, Mahone hasn’t encountered too many controversial bumps in his quest for superstardom. This may have something to do with the people Austin surrounds himself with on a daily basis.

During his recent chat with the folks at Celebuzz, Austin Mahone revealed that his mother and his buddies help keep him on the right path. The “Mmm Yeah” singer also told the Web site that he’s learned a few things by keeping a very close eye on Justin Bieber’s career.

“I mean, everyone makes mistakes. I think it all comes down to having a good, solid team around. Like I have my best friends to travel with me, and my mom to travel with me, so I think I have a pretty good base. I think that’s what it all comes down to,” Austin Mahone said.

Some folks were reportedly concerned that Austin Mahone may hurt his reputation by hanging out with Justin Bieber. According to an anonymous source, Mahone’s family didn’t want the singer spending too much time with Bieber out of fear that he would leap into the same turbulent waters.

“Austin’s family have begged him to stay away from Justin because they think it will tarnish his ‘good boy’ image. They fear he’ll head down the same destructive path. Austin idolizes Justin and, quite frankly, it scares the crap out of his loved ones,” the insider dished.

The source added, “They tell him that he’s got his whole life and a lucrative career ahead of him, and hanging with Justin will only take him down a bad path. But, Austin’s made it clear that he’s now 18 and can do what he wants.”

It’s definitely clear that Austin Mahone has his eyes on the prize at the moment. The Inquisitr previously reported that the singer is preparing to release his first album The Secret on May 27. During his recent interview with Billboard, Austin revealed that he hopes to have another record out later this year.

“For the first one I wanted it to just be me to show the fans what I’ve been doing. So I feel like the next album, hopefully coming out November of this year, will have more collaborations — hopefully Drake will be on there. That’d be pretty sweet,” the singer explained.
