Miley Cyrus Shoots Down Overdose Rumor, Says She’s The ‘Poster Child For Good Health’

Miley Cyrus wants the world to know that she didn’t have a drug overdose. If you could stop spreading that rumor, then she’s greatly appreciate it.

The former Hannah Montana star recently held a press conference to discuss the recent health problems she’s experienced over the past several weeks. Although certain folks would have you believe that Cyrus and her handlers are attempting to hide a drug overdose, the singer said recent reports about her health issues are completely bogus.

“I didn’t have a drug overdose. I took some s****y antibiotic my doctor gave me and I had an allergic reaction. I already had a death in my family so my immune system was already low,” Miley Cyrus explained.

Regarding her postponed Bangerz Tour, Cyrus revealed she can’t wait to get the show back on the proverbial road. The singer said, “You have no idea how ready I am. There is nothing I would rather not do than lay in a bed for two weeks. It was the most miserable two weeks of my life.”

She added, “I’m probably the only one on this tour who doesn’t drink or smoke before a show, as I take this really seriously. It’s almost like being an athlete being up here, because if someone was f***ed up, they definitely couldn’t do my show.”

Miley, who declared that she’s the “poster child for good health,” decided to take a more natural approach to curing her sinus infection after medication failed to do the trick. Thanks to some wise decisions, Cyrus said she’s feeling better than ever.

“I’m on this crazy vitamin rush and crazy honey and lavender. I learned a lot about taking care of yourself,” the singer told the press.

According to the folks over at Gossip Cop, the rumors about Miley Cyrus’ supposed drug overdose started with an article from Life & Style magazine. The publication reportedly talked to someone who say Cyrus’ problem with drugs and alcohol firsthand.

The insider claimed that Miley’s recent health issues were due to “months of over-the-top partying — including rampant pot smoking and a drug binge that ended in an overdose.” Life & Style also reported that the singer’s friends are constantly worried about her well-being these days.
