Kim And Kanye Marry In Private Ceremony In LA [Report]
Did Kim Kardashian and Kanye West get married this weekend in secret? While some reports indicate that the pair tied the knot well below paparazzi radar, others indicate that the media savvy couple haven’t yet been hitched, and that the big day still looms.
According to some sources, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West did get married — but just to get the official paperwork out of the way before their real wedding in France later this month.
The first report on the Kim Kanye nuptials situation appears to have come out of celeb gossip title Life & Style, which reported from an unnamed source. The spy dished to the mag:
“Kim and Kanye are now married on paper. They got their license in California over the past few days… Kim and North are on their way to NYC now.”
Well, the license isn’t exactly news, and until an actual wedding ceremony, it doesn’t make you married on paper per se. Is there more?
L&S points back to TMZ, where a Kim Kanye secret wedding was predicted early last week. The magazine quotes an earlier interview with Kardashian, in which she hinted:
“People are probably assuming we’re going to have this massive wedding, and I think it will be – but intimate… Two hundred people – just all of our closest friends – a special night for us and all the people that really love us and that have supported us.”
So what do reps have to say about the Kim and Kanye secret wedding rumors?
According to New York Daily News, flak for Kimye haven’t confirmed the allegations that the two married in private — but the rep didn’t deny the claim either:
“There is no statement and no comment on wedding conjecture.”
So basically, where we are is that no one really knows for sure if Kim and Kanye are officially married yet:

One major gossip source, People, hedges that Kim and Kanye’s secret wedding rumors are false — noting that the pair is expected to tie the knot for real on May 24.
