Nicki Minaj Calls Out Clippers Owner Donald Sterling In New Rap

Nicki Minaj apparently isn’t a big fan disgracedm soon-to-be former Los Angles Clippers owner Donald Sterling.

In her new song, “Yasss Bish,” Nicki quite directly references Sterling, and it’s not too flattering.

“I don’t f— with you n—as, I own the Clippers,” she raps on the song, which features Souja Boy.

While Nicki Minaj has been getting a lot of press for another tidbit revealed in the song — she actually announces when her first single from her new album will be coming out — the hit to Donald Sterling was pretty timely. In the days after audio was released showing Sterling admonishing his girlfriend for associating with black men in public, everyone from Michael Jordan to President Obama called out the Clippers owner.

Getting fans excited with a good old fashioned dis track might be part of the plan. Nicki Minaj said the upcoming album, The Pink Print, will be a bit of a throwback.

“The tracks on [my next album] are back to my hip-hop roots. And I don’t think it’s something that I’m necessarily trying to do. As soon as I started working on my new album, that’s just the songs that I’ve been writing,” the rapper told MTV News.

She added, “I’m just gonna do what my heart tells me to do.”

But Nicki Minaj has more than just dissing disgraced owners in her future. Aside from her upcoming album, Nicki also appears to have a promising movie career in the works. After appearing inThe Other Woman, Nicki said she might want to take on some more roles.

“I am going on auditions, and I’m trying to find the right role with the right director and the right writers. I want to be part of something from the beginning stage this time, and I want the role to be custom-made for me,” Minaj told MTV News.

As for actually owning the Los Angeles Clippers, Nicki Minaj can pull that off as well — as long as she can scrape $1 billion together.
