Cara Delevingne wants the world to know that she's down with doing sex scenes as long as it serves a purpose in the movie.
Since the model is seriously thinking about devoting a lot of time and effort to the world of motion pictures, she wants to make it clear that erotic sequences aren't out of the question. According to Delevingne, she's willing to take off her clothes for the "sake of art."
During a recent Q&A session for her short film Timeless, Cara Delevingne discussed what she will and won't do on the big screen. If filmmakers want the budding actress to accept a role that involves sex or nudity, then they better make sure it suits the character. Cara isn't interested in signing on for cheap exploitation flicks.
"I already know when I look at a script and f I have to be naked, there are just things that I look for that I know automatically whether it's something I don't want to do or not," Delevingne explained.
The model continued, "I have morals I want to keep to. We'll see. You have good people around you who help you make those decisions. Hopefully I pick the right one [but] you never know these things... If it's a role I'd really love, I'd do it. It just depends. For the sake of art, always."
The Inquisitr previously reported that Cara Delevingne will join an impressive all-star cast for director Joe Wright's adaptation of Peter Pan. The actress will appear alongside Amanda Seyfried, Hugh Jackman, and Rooney Mara in the flick. Wright is the guy responsible for giving Delevingne her film debut in Anna Karenina. However, it's likely Pan will contain anything of an explicitly sexual nature.
Cara also appears in the upcoming thriller London Fields alongside Johnny Depp, Amber Heard, Theo James, and Billy Bob Thornton. The model will appear in acclaimed director Michael Winterbottom's drama The Face of an Angel as well. If she's hoping to launch a proper Hollywood career, then she's definitely signing on for the right projects.
There's also a rumor that Delevingne could star in the proposed remake of Thelma and Louise. According to various reports, Michelle Rodriguez really wants her girlfriend to co-star in the project.
"Michelle is heavily in demand after her success in The Fast And The Furious. A few names have been mentioned as her co-star, include Kristen Stewart, Annalynne McCord and Leighton Meester, but Michelle is pushing for Cara," a source recently told The Sun.
If everything goes her way, then moviegoers could find a number of Cara Delevingne projects headed to the big screen in the near future.
