Fattest Woman: 765-Pound Woman Needs To Drop 280 Before Gastric Bypass Surgery

The fattest woman in the world is determined to lose a good amount of weight before her upcoming wedding. According to The New York Daily News,Charity Pierce weighs a shocking 765 pounds. She has met and fallen in love with a man whom she wants to marry and that has given her the motivation to lose weight. Pierce needs to lose 280 pounds before doctors will perform gastric bypass surgery on her. Her goal is to weigh 200 pounds at her wedding.

Housebound since 2001, Pierce says that she doesn’t want to be forced to get married in her home. She hopes to walk down the aisle — wearing cowboy boots — when she weds her 22-year-old beau, Tony Saur.

The fattest woman began her diet in February, cutting her calorie count from 10,000+ a day to 1,200. It has certainly been a big adjustment, but Pierce says that she is ready to change her life:

“I’m determined not to have to get married at home – I want to be able to walk up the aisle. We both love country music so I plan to wear a wedding dress, cowboy boots and cowgirl hat and Tony will be in jeans and cowboy boots. My dream goal is to be 200 pounds and get married to my fiancé. I just want to have a life,” she said.

The 38-year-old from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has been eating healthier and making better food choices for the past couple of months. She is eating yogurt, fruits, and vegetables more frequently, cutting out sugary foods like doughnuts, Pop Tarts, and chocolate bars.

The fattest woman in the world has the full support of her fiancé. Saur told The Metro UK:

“Charity’s size has never been an issue for me…. I think she will be a beautiful bride. I worry she is going to die early but I feel confident she will lose weight and have the operation,” he said.

As previously reported by Inquisitr.com, there are many health concerns linked to obesity, not just diabetes. For example, women with a higher Body Mass Index (BMI) are more likely to get ovarian cancer. Other cancers have also been linked to obesity. Doctors warn that an unhealthy weight can affect more than just your day-to-day life.

The fattest woman in the world was told that her weight would eventually kill her. It sounds like she is taking the right steps to get herself healthy. Hopefully she is successful and it’s not too late.
