Justin Timberlake Is Not Too Big For His Britches
Justin Timerberlake is the kind of artist that even in the height of his career, always remains humble. Even before Justin became a teenager, he got his first big break as a cast member in The Mickey Mouse Club according to DailyMail.co.uk. Timberlake remained a Mouseketeer from 1993 to 1994 which is where he met his then girlfriend, Britney Spears. There have been many other famous artists who followed the same path as Justin as a Mouseketeer, including Ryan Gosling, JC Chasez and Christina Aguilera who eventually even became one of Justin’s touring partners.
Since that time, Justin Timberlake has become a household name. When Justin joined the boy band ‘N Sync he developed a huge rise in popularity. After selling millions of albums, Justin decided to take a leap of faith in 2002 and debut his solo album. He has proven himself to be a star with multiple Grammy Award wins, as well as venturing out into the acting scene on the big screen per People.com.
With all this success, Timberlake could have become too big for his own britches, but he has proven to be quite the opposite. Just recently, Justin took time away from his incredibly busy schedule to not only make an appearance, but to perform on the 2014 Radio Disney Music Awards. Justin was actually in Paris preparing for his 20/20 Experience World Tour. Yet, he remembered that Disney gave him his start, and in honor of that realization, was very gracious as Justin accepted the “He’s The One – Best Male Artist” award.
Timeberlake thanked his fans and also thanked Radio Disney. Justin also prepared and performed an a capella version of the song Thank You For Letting Me Be Myself, Again. That is exactly why Justin’s fans love him dearly. Not only for Justin’s incredible talent, but for his humility and realizing that much of his success is due to his fans and the ones who gave Justin his start.
Justin is also generous and takes joy in sharing what he has with others. One example of this is reported by DailyMail.co.uk. in which he went with at least twenty-five members of his entourage to a nightspot after one of his concert performances. Justin remained there until around 4 am keeping the staff rather busy. The owner of the club bragged on Timberlake saying he was happy and a real gentleman. The waitresses were thrilled when he left an excessive tip of approximately $3,400.
Justin Timberlake’s fans will be cheering for their down-to-earth star on May 18 during the Billboard Music Awards where he is up for eleven of those awards. Good Luck, Justin!
