Watch ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 4 Episode 4 Live Online: Will HBO Go Finally Work?

Viewers who want to watch the latest Game of Thrones episode live online may need a little bit of luck to make it all the way through.

High demand for streaming video of this season of the hit HBO show has cause the network’s online arm HBO Go to struggle in keeping up with all the viewers. The site crashed often during the season premiere of the show earlier this month, and through the second and third episodes ran into sporadic problems.

This week fans of the show will have another chance to watch Game of Thrones live online, with the fourth episode again streaming live on HBO Go at the same time it is being broadcast on television at 9 pm ET on Sunday.

The show itself has debuted to high ratings this year, pulling in close to 6.6 million viewers so far, but HBO executives seem to want a larger audience still. The live streaming video on HBO Go is meant to bring in a new crowd, and the network’s CEO Richard Plepler said HBO isn’t overly concerned with people sharing passwords to access the content. The more eyes the better, apparently.

The network may only build viewers as the season goes on and the show follows the ramifications of Joffrey’s murder.

Sunday’s episode, titled “Oath Keeper,” will have other high points including the follow-up in the tryst between Jaime and Cersei.

“Fan sites and critics spent much of the week discussing the scene between Cersei and Jaime at Joffrey’s crypt,” a preview noted. “Did Jaime rape Cersei? In the novel, the sex is consensual although Cersei protests at first but yields by her own choice. The change in the narrative follows other changes. In the novels, Jaime is not present for his son’s wedding. He had not yet returned with Brienne.”
